What can women learn from training in the BJJ

The Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is an excellent form of the martial arts and is respected by many people worldwide. Every year the turnout of the people who decide to do Brazilian Jiu Jitsu increases and there are many credible reasons for that. The Brazilian Jiu Jitsu helps people learn self-defense which increases their self-esteem and confidence in general. When you begin doing the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu the people you train with start feeling like family and you have a place where you feel you belong to because they are going through the same experiences as you and they understand what your journey is like. That feeling of belonging while you are learning self-defense can be very encouraging and it makes you feel good about yourself.

There are some notable differences between the martial arts and the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, for example the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu was not designed to prioritize attacking techniques like the martial arts; the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu revolves more around escaping techniques and how to create a distance between you and your opponent.
